Before and After

Steph recently went to a sheep-shearing festival somewhere in Massachusetts, and sent these pictures.

While she was there, she bought some bamboo fiber to spin. I can hardly wait to see what she does with it. I think she said she’s planning on spinning some lace-weight.

She’s off to Prague on Thursday. I’m envious. Bon voyage and safe travels, Steph! Have a blast, and send e-mail updates if you have a chance!

It's such a lovely sweater, but don't you find that sometimes the most wearable knits are not the most interesting to make/photograph?

I'd have called it a "coat" rather than a "sweater." Oh, wait a minute ... I bet you were referring to the Leo sweater I'm making for my son. Yes, I think it's going to be wonderfully comfortable but you're right, it certainly isn't exciting to make or photograph, especially when the color (black) isn't even very interesting.
