Feeling the time crunch

The Rowan plaid project is almost finished! I just have the right-side buttonhole band to knit, and then sewing on the buttons. Little else of Christmas prep is that close to finished, though. The Christmas tree is up but hasn’t a single decoration on it. I have the tree decorations dug out and sitting in the middle of the livingroom ... but first the lights need to go on. I think that’s on Gar’s to-do list for tonight.

In addition to all the things that need to get done before Christmas, I need to do a little bit of "babyproofing" of the house because I have two houseguests coming tomorrow … Steph’s cats. I really feel like I should get some sort of "best mom in the world" award! But look at these pictures from when they were just little kitties. That's Bo on the left, and Steph holding a very young Elliott on the right.

So cute! I love that there will be cats running around your house during Christmas. If we can't have Steph there, at least we can have her cats.

Now that I look at these pictures again, I think it's kind of funny that the common element in them (besides kittens, of course) is radiators.
